Celebrating Our Journey: From Boonah to Ipswich and Beaudesert
November is a special month for Holdorf’s Furniture Court & Beds R Us, as we celebrate two important milestones: 15 years in Ipswich and 10 years in Beaudesert!
As a family-owned furniture and bedding business, we're proud of how far we've come and incredibly grateful to the communities that have supported us along the way.
Our Story Began in Boonah
In 1994, Ray and Roslyn Holdorf moved the business to Yeates Avenue in Boonah and established Furniture Court. This became the foundation of the family business we know today, built on friendly service and a commitment to helping local families create comfortable homes.
With more than 32 years of history in Boonah, our original store remains an important part of our story.
15 Years of Furniture and Bedding in Ipswich
In November 2011, we expanded our family business by opening our Ipswich store at 30 South Street, in the former RT Edwards building.
Over the past 15 years, our Ipswich furniture store has helped local families furnish their homes, find comfortable mattresses and discover the perfect lounge suites and recliners.
We're proud to be part of the Ipswich community and thankful to everyone who has supported us, whether you've been shopping with us since the beginning or have only recently discovered our store.
Celebrating 10 Years in Beaudesert
In 2016, we opened our Beaudesert store at 72 Brisbane Street, bringing our range of furniture and bedding to another wonderful Queensland community.
Now celebrating its 10th birthday, our Beaudesert store continues to help local families find furniture, Australian-made mattresses, La-Z-Boy recliners and practical comfort solutions for their homes.
As a family-owned business, we believe in friendly service, helpful advice and making furniture shopping an enjoyable experience. Thank you to everyone who has welcomed us into Beaudesert and supported our store over the past decade!
Four Big Brands, All Under One Roof
Today, our stores bring together four trusted brands: Furniture Court, Beds R Us, La-Z-Boy and IMG Comfort.
From lounge suites and recliners to Australian-made mattresses, adjustable beds and lift chairs, we offer a wide range of furniture and bedding to suit different homes, needs and budgets.
With friendly teams and our own delivery service offering installation, we're here to help make finding the right furniture as easy as possible.
Thank You for Being Part of Our Story
From our beginnings as Furniture Court in Boonah to 15 years in Ipswich and 10 years in Beaudesert, our journey has always been about helping local families create comfortable homes.
Thank you to our customers and communities for supporting our family business over the years. We're proud of our local roots and look forward to helping Queensland families enjoy their homes for many years to come!
